Greek Gods: 12 Olympian Gods

    According to Greek mythology, there are 12 great gods who rule the world. These gods they believe live on Mount Olympos in Greece. That is why they are called the 12 olympian gods.     Apollo is the god of the sun, music, and art. It establishes a bond between people and gods. The stringed instrument plays the lyre. It is said to be healing to patients. Its symbol is laurel. He is the son of Zeus and Leto. He is also the twin sister of Artemis.

9- ARTEMIS (DIANA)

    Artemis is the goddess of birth and archery. It is the chief hunter of Olympos. If a woman died without suffering, it is believed that it was with the silver arrows of Artemis. He loves wild animals, young, and features deer.

She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto. He is the twin brother of Apollo.

10- ARES (Mars)

    Ares is the god of war. He is an extremely hard-hearted and vengeful god. The Greeks do not like Ares very much, but the Romans called it mars and loved it. They portray him as the god of a superior and noble appearance dressed in shiny armor and never defeated.

He is the son of Zeus and Hera.

11- ATHENA (Minerva)

    She is the goddess of intelligence. Athens, the capital of Greece today, was named after this goddess. It is believed that he was protecting the city of Athens. She is the daughter of Zeus, but she has no mother. She is Zeus' favorite and most trusted child. He would only let him carry the lightning bolt that was his weapon.
