Merchants and Slaves

Slaves, who were tired of walking for kilometers due to the slave trade that spread in Africa at that time, were getting energy by chewing the red and bitter fruits of coffee trees while resting on the roadside. The Most Common Coffee Types

Coffea Arabica

70% of the coffee produced in the world is Coffea Arabica. The fruit of a normal arabica tree takes up to 9 months to grow. The fruits grow after the rainy season. 5 kg of fruit is collected from each tree.

Coffea Arabica coffee is one of the hardest coffees to grow. The reason for this is that the arabica tree cannot adapt to diseases and climatic conditions

It grows on mountainous plateaus at altitudes of 850 to 2000 meters.

Coffea Canephora meets approximately 30% of the world's coffee consumption.
