    Compulsory military service was abolished in France and the United Kingdom in Europe. And the regular salaried professional military service system began to be implemented.

Compulsory military service in Germany ended in 2011. They had been doing military service for 3 months before compulsory military service was abolished in Germany.

Mandatory military service was abolished in Belgium, the Netherlands.

Israel

In Israel, men and women over the age of 18 are called for compulsory military service.
